One Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

La Russophobe dares to wonder what the Georgian and American presidents are smiling about in Washington. Perhaps it is the mental image of Vladimir Putin ripping the few remaining hairs out of his bald noggin.

La Russophobe dares to wonder

I also dare to wonder.. Is there a minimum number of posts that you have to spit out a day that you go as low as posting a picture of people and making stupid far-fetched guesses?

I'm not sure I understand -- are you saying you don't think it's significant that the President of the United States invites the President of Georgia to the White House just before the G-8 summit in Russia?

Or are you just saying you find it really infuriating how devastatingly I keep reminding people of how low Russia is sinking, and how unable you are to refute the facts, therefore resorting to pathetically lame personal attacks?

PS: Have you always had this Neo-Stalinist desire to control how other people express themselves? Is it because you yourself can't do so?

I am another anonymous:-)

"Have you always had this Neo-Stalinist desire to control how other people express themselves? Is it because you yourself can't do so?"

Look who is talking now? Don't you right away insult people who have a different point of view from yours?

You are a confirmed Sovok!!!

"I'm not sure I understand -- are you saying you don't think it's significant that the President of the United States invites the President of Georgia to the White House just before the G-8 summit in Russia?"

You write "apples." A person says "why apples?" You answer "what's wrong with oranges?." You are illogical to a point of stupidity.

Prove it :)

No, I don't. I love to hear points of view that are different than my own.

I insult people when (a) they insult me first or (b) they assert facts without citing authority to back them up or (c) they mischaracterize my comments because they did not read them carefully.

You seem to forget that this is my blog and I have every right to make the rules for it and to express myself as a I choose here. Only a Neo-Stalinist can fail to understand that.

You have failed to read the comments carefully and, hence, deserve to be called an idiot. The commenter stated that it was a useless, non-substantive act to post the picture of the two presidents. I said that it was not, because the mere fact of their meeting was highly significant, as the expression on their face clearly show. In response, you fail to explain why my response is wrong.

Moron.

I totaly agree with La Russophobe!!! Sometimes pictures are saying more than words.

Dear LaRussophobe,
Do you know, that people in Georgia always praised and now praise Stalin and call him a great ruler? And Saakashvili actions in many respects remind Stalin's attitude. Do you think it is a positive sign and good for democracy? ;-))))))

Totalitarism is part of Georgian mentality. They either kill everyone or run to Russians for protection because, according to them, they are our orthodox brothers and sisters...

No more:-)

La Russophobe is a Sovok and a Stalinist also:-)

Levan, I guess living in Germany, makes you a Georgian patriot...

Find yourself some goats, Levan...

KARMEN: No, I didn't. And neither does anyone else, since you have not posted ONE SINGLE SHRED OF EVIDENCE to support your claim.

But maybe you heard in on Russian state-owned TV?

And you might at least TRY to understand the point of the post, which is that Russia does not want America to support Georgia and yet it is happening, because of the failed policies of Vladimir Putin, whom Russians support with 70% approval ratings in polls.

Think about it. Or try to, anyway.

"because of the failed policies of Vladimir Putin,"

you mean the failed policies of Saakashvili? the country was heavily subsidized during the USSR, now it's all leveled out. It's one of the poorest countires in europe, and Kakashvili has not done anything, except re-distributed wealth for his friends.

That guy is gonna end up like Shah of Iran...

No wonder he flies to DC often to check with his boss...

ANONYMOUS: Georgia is poor because it has been exploited as a slave state by the USSR for decades. What is Russia's excuse? You've been reading too much of the Kremlin's propaganda, dear, you're a typically blind neo-Soviet man.
