Our creed: You don't really know Russia unless you read La Russophobe!
Our motto: Russia is the best country in the world . . . except for all the others.
Our slogan: "Что-то типа Новой Газеты на английском языке." (Translation: Something like Novaya Gazeta, but in English).

How much is your blog worth?
Pioneer Power: Though he painted more than 1,000 works of art in his lifetime, Vincent Van Gogh sold only two.
Mark Twain: "It's a man with very little imagination who can only spell a word one way."
Socrates: "To be is to do." Sartre: "To do is to be." Sinatra: "Do be do be do."
Girl Power: On May 14, 2006, a perfect game was pitched in the Oakfield, New York Little League. Perfect as in 18 consecutive strikeouts. The pitcher's name? Katie Brownell. She's the only female player in the league.
Girl Power: On April 13, 2007, the Independent reported that women will soon be able to produce sperm cells from their bone marrow, making men obsolete.

What was that statue ? I hope it wasn't Lenin, which will bring the 1908 statement to question...
Hi Oleg,
If you want to make reference to a specific part of the film, I suggest you cite a minute/second marker so we will know what you are talking about.
Then, it isn't our claim that the film is from 1908, it's from the person who posted it on Google Video.
Then, are you suggesting that video of Russia at the time the first Lenin Statutes appeared ISN'T rare? In fact, I'd think that such video would be EVEN MORE rare and I'd be delighted to find out that this is early post-revolution footage. So please to explore and find out.
