Did you Know that Russian Girls are not Forever

Did you know that there were four sexy "Bond girls" in the James Bond film From Russia With Love . . . . and none of them were played by Russian actresses? The leading one, namely the Russian character Tatiana Romanova, was played by the Italian actress Daniela Bianchi.

Did you know that the Russian character Anya Amasova in the Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me was played by the American actress Barbara Bach?

Did you know that the Russian-sounding character Valenko in the Bond film Casino Royale was played by the Yugoslavia-born American actress Ivana Milicevic?

Did you know that in the recently announced 22nd installment in the James Bond series, as yet untitled, a major role will be played by . . . ouch . . . a Ukrainian named Olga Kurylenko (pictured)?

Did you know that, in fact, no Russian actress has ever played a Bond hottie, though there have now been close to hundred of them?

And did you know that many Russians are firmly convinced that their women dominate the globe on the question of physical allure?

Did you know that Russians are wont to live in dream worlds rather detached from reality, and that this has foreseeable consequences upon their ability to lead happy, productive lives?

What is your obsession with Russian women, especially tennis players?

This post isn't about tennis players, you moron.

And the posts about tennis players are ABOUT TENNIS, you dolt.

Can you read or think at all?

Truth hurts, doesn't it? Hiding from it won't work, though. The USSR showed that.

To answer your "question" -- We write very occasionally about Russian tennis (can you point to another post we've written about Russian women besides this one?) because some people have the illusion that Russian female tennis players are very powerful and even dominant, just as they have the illusion that Vladimir Putin is. It's our business to dispel these illusions.
