Apologies for Blogger Outage

La Russophobe apologizes to any readers who were prevented from commenting or accessing the blog over the two days. This is due to technical issues that have arising at blogger.com and is beyond La Russophobe’s control. Precious little information has been made available to the bloggers regarding the status of the situation, which may be ongoing.

Comments can be sent to La Russophobe's e-mail when the system is down, she will post them at opportunity. One reader attempted to comment on the post about Russians ruining tennis but was frustrated and forwarded the comment by email. La Russophobe includes it here because it seems to imply a wider significance. Perhaps other readers have other thoughts or information about the issue that is rasied.

Hi,

It appears that the Russians haven't quite got their next generation of performance enhancing drugs dialed in. The reason I say this is that they display a pattern very similar to guys who play first person shooters (Quake 4, Counterstrike, etc.) while on speed. Initially they play wildly because they have too much in their system(hard to control a mouse well when your hands are shaking badly), then as the levels come down into the sweet spot they go on an absolute tear, and are almost untouchable, then as they start to crash they descend into incompetence.

P.
