We've been saying that today's Russia offers the worst of the Tsarist and Soviet eras, with none of their benefits, since the very first day we started publishing.

As for whether Russia is Soviet or not, check out the lengthy article we will publish later today documenting Sovietism chapter and verse.La Russophobehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05672264388217953086noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25230932.post-4405292066390741602008-05-06T06:13:00.000-04:002008-05-06T06:13:00.000-04:00I have a comment, too. Russian Federation is what ...I have a comment, too. Russian Federation is what the area, sometimes called Russia always has been since Ivan Groznyi - a country where people have no right and no desire to think independently and where people have always been like a cattle, led to be slaughtered by their worshipped as gods leaders.

Sorry to brake your illusions, but in Soviet times in the Soviet Union it was very and very highly rated to be rich. Money was the only thing that got "normal" people going. The only difference was that the numbers were smaller and beeing rich usually ment you had a Moskvich car, a collection of Tzchecoslovacian crystal vases and a golden watch.

Normal, "clever" people were working as waiters and porters, taxi drivers, had a job in a mall or in a warehouse - so they were able to steel and speculate with all kinds of goods other people were just dreaming of. Waiters and porters had a great income because 1. - they had a chance to steel delicatesses and fine alcochol, 2. - they could organise you a free table in a restaurant (which was difficult, while local "high society" usually crowded the restaurants).

If you weren't steeling, you were ranked as a dunce. If you were thinking and talking about attending to a highschool or university, "normal" people ´were saying: Oh, you fool, you'll get no money out of this! Do you know how poorly the teachers and doctors and scientists are paid?! Just go to work, don't waste your time on studying some rubbish! I have nice place for you in a warehouse - we have sausages and chocolate there, sometimes even bananas... Peoples way of thinking could be described very well by words of a mother to her son: "No, you will NOT go to the Technical University. If you reallu want to go to university, you'll go and learn to be a gynecologist. Women will pay you for abortions in cash, you'll have a good life." I knew this woman personally.

Of course, the real "high society" was living in a totally different world. It has been described in numerous memoirs how the important members of the communist party, the nomenclature and all the government hihger officials spent their lives in luxury. They didn't know how much a train ticket or a litre of gas would cost, they had special shops where caviar and smoked salmon was on sale. They had no idea how the common people were living. SO - IT'S ALL THE SAME! Nothing has changed in Russia!Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17770778469684803169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25230932.post-18064919834364725842008-05-05T14:44:00.000-04:002008-05-05T14:44:00.000-04:00So you call Russia neo-Tsarist now? Well, its cert...So you call Russia neo-Tsarist now? Well, its certainly more accurate than "neo-Soviet". Russian Empire was a friend of the west, as is capitalist Russia. Russian Empire, the "prison house of the peoples" as was appropriately named by Lenin, was trying to be slaved by a multi-imperialist invasion led by USA, UK, France, Japan, and Turkey.

Long Live the Bolshevik Party of Lenin and Trotsky!Tower Bolshevikhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04343248490965702223noreply@blogger.com
