B... He added: “Nobody wants to go back to Communism. But it had certain attributes and symbols which for younger people are not associated with the regime, but with our own personal memories.”

I can think of several people who would disagree with this statement. HOWEVER if it contains a play on words, then those who want to go back are nobodies.

This is an important thing that he is brigning up… the same ‘effect’ is in the west with the baby boomers and their children… growing up during the 60s revolution was romanticized before it was even half over… and so you can see, just as in the 70s the 50s were popular (happy days, etc)…

However the “cultural mash up” that is now, seeks to grab on to scraps of the past to establish some present state… there is no new ‘safe’ thing, just scraps of old that are ‘safe’ because they seem impotent, and important at the same time.

And because to the young symbols only mean what they personally think they mean, they have personal versions of things.

This allows for some interesting effects as I described a while back.

The designer’s fans say his motives are purely commercial. “Why did Andy Warhol paint Mao Zedong or Lenin? Because they are easily recognizable symbols,”

Ok… then why are they only using soviet era symbols? Why not symbols from the tatars, and from the US, and from all over…

While he focuses you down to some small thing to push out the rest of the world (Warhol mixed up all his symbols, he didn’t focus the way this person is)

This is whats hoped to be a reletivation, however, one would also have to ask, what was warhols political leanings and what was his friends points.

They were almost all serious leftists and such… they were not just commercial people. ESPECIALLY Warhol who left commercial and advertising art for the fine art world. (and who helped change the face of art from the uplifting of the renaissaince to the abstract expressionism and such? and why? read adorno and such on music and primitivization. This is why we have piss cross, and not something even higher and such than the most treasured works of mans history in totem!)

Well he may show them at Milan, but he doesn’t show them in ny… not yet. Fashion week in ny will be in feb…

However one only needs to know that one of the most important fashion groups is called “peoples revolution”. The industry is dominated by leftist women and feminist harridens taking advantage of the models and such to build their careers.

[after all, look at the red dress thing. it was the feminist fashion rags that got in with tobacco and alcohol to get going as redbook and ladies home journal (now being filled by Martha stewart), refused to run their ads because their products were harmful. Well, you came a long way baby, and so these rags go to pump in their leftist and communist stuff to the women and play them like fools. After all, the reason the magazines couldn’t get startes is that they hated the fashion industry.. they still do. however they are power oriented not morals oriented, so doubling back for power is not a problem. so the red dress now collects mony to figth gainst heard desease and such and is being promoted by the very same group of women. not just in ideology, but the actual same women from that time! so they got em sick, and now they are curing them. however both times they got power. power for the money and addicting women for the big companies… and power later for having a cause to fix the problem. sounds so soviet, no? ]

So he has no real problem showing up and having a show in ny either, since it’s a huge nest full of fellow travelers, red diaper babies, useful idiots by the score, and those who just don’t want to be on the ‘wrong side’ to everyone in their little world.Artfldgrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13594241837693535704noreply@blogger.com
